The next garden day at Loma Vista Elementary School will be this Saturday, June 20, from 9am - noon. We will be harvesting wildflower seeds - CA Poppies, Clarkia and Gillia. Anybody who helps out is welcome to take some seeds home. Please bring gloves and pruners if you have them (we have a limited number to lend out). Happy New Year! The next garden day at Loma Vista Elementary School will be on Saturday, January 17, from 9am - noon. January means fruit tree pruning season, so we will do a quick clean-up in the native garden, but concentrate on taming the fruit trees in the back orchard. Sorry for the late notice, but the next garden day at Loma Vista Elementary School is THIS Saturday, October 18, from 9am - noon. Thanks to our lovely little storm, the garden is soaking up the rain and getting ready to start the fall cycle of regrowth. We will be doing light clean-up and pruning to trim things up. We hope to plan a more thorough pruning session in January. Please bring gloves and pruners if you have them (we have a limited number to lend out).
