Normally we package the medications back in the USA at our annual medication packing party. This year the local government wanted us to bring the medications in there original containers ( 10,000 pills in a jar). So....the team packed pills Sunday afternoon. We managed to get over 100,000 vitamins and most of our medications repacked into patient-friendly portions!

Our clinic is done. The need was endless. In the end we saw over 2600 refugees of the 10000 there. The best we could do. We treated over 200 cases of malaria. We delivered a baby. We relieved some suffering. We saw life and death, hope and tragedy. The problem is severe and under reported by the media . While we were there Boka Harram conducted another attack in the north killing thousands and displacing thousands more worsening an already terrible situation. Meanwhile the desperately poor refugees we just saw are being forced out of the temporary camps by their own government with no where to go.
Please keep these wonderful , kind, loving people, truly poorest of the poor in your prayers.
I will continue posting stories and photos of the trip over the coming weeks. I am so proud of my team of volunteers and the hard work they did touching the lives of others in the name of Jesus.
