What if gentleness isn’t weakness at all? What if it’s actually strength under control?
Jesus, the most powerful person to ever walk the earth, described himself as “gentle and humble in heart.” He flipped tables, spoke truth directly, yet remained perfectly gentle. That’s not weakness—that’s power surrendered and directed for the good of others.
When people leave a conversation with you, do they feel stronger or smaller? Seen or managed? Gentleness isn’t about being passive or playing small. It’s about being fully present, fully powerful, and fully under control. It’s leveraging everything you are for the benefit of those around you.
You’re not too far gone. God can rewrite your story and produce this fruit in you from the inside out. Apart from Jesus, we settle for knockoffs—aggression, passivity, or detachment. But connected to Him, we can be transformed.
