Relay For Life of Ventura Paddle Out For Hope

Relay For Life of Ventura Paddle Out For Hope The Paddle Out For Hope is a unique and traditional ceremony to celebrate cancer Survivors and remember our loved ones that we've lost.

A paddle out is a traditional ceremony in which our community embraces when someone passes, we utilize our incredible ocean as a somber way to celebrate life, to give back, to show our understanding of the cycle of life. We are inviting any and all to be a part of the Paddle Out, not just surfers. We want to promote it as a Celebration Of Life for those who are surviving, a Remembrance for those w

e have lost, and as a way to Fight Back against cancer by promoting healthy active life-style, well-being, and spirituality.

National Minority Cancer Awareness Week is April 11 −17. The American Cancer Society knows that cancer
can affect anyone, but it doesn’t affect everyone equally. We work to improve everyone’s access to cancer
prevention, screening, and high-quality follow-up care. Knowing the prevention and screening
recommendations for minority groups can go a long way to reducing disparities and saving more lives from
cancer. Learn more here - http://bit.ly/2jo2MO0
