This week, we honor Jennifer Hansen, our incredible Founder and CEO, for reaching 29 years clean and sober!

At just 25 years old, after countless struggles, Jennifer found hope in a women’s transitional facility in California. Through unwavering dedication, the 12 steps, and deep personal growth, she built the foundation for a new life.

She didn’t stop there. Seeing the urgent need for long-term recovery resources in New Jersey, she founded The Hansen Foundation in 1999. Since then, she has opened countless recovery residences, giving thousands of people a safe place to heal and rebuild their lives.

Jennifer’s mission is clear: “Some of us have to get down in the hole and learn how to get out so that we can show others.” And for 29 years, she’s done just that—guiding, inspiring, and saving lives.

Jenn, your courage, heart, and commitment continue to change the world. Thank you for all you do, we love you! 💜🎉

We’ve been quiet, but that’s only because BIG things have been happening at the Hansen Foundation! Here’s a look at the incredible progress we’ve made:

🏌️‍♂️Our Most Successful Golf Tournament Ever!
The 28th Annual Hansen Foundation Charity Golf Tournament was a record-breaker! Together, we raised over $200,000 to support scholarships & recovering addicts in need. We are beyond grateful to everyone who participated.

🚜 Main Campus Expansion Underway
Thanks to , our Main Campus is getting a huge upgrade, including three new HF sponsored buildings. One of these will be a 22-bed Residential facility on our 400-acre campus, expanding our capacity to provide safe and supportive care to those in early recovery!

🏡 Growing Recovery Residences!
A massive shoutout to Director of Housing, Dave Curry, who secured a $659,000 2024 Recovery Housing Grant! This incredible funding has allowed us to purchase our 11th recovery residence, creating even more opportunities for people to rebuild their lives in a structured and supportive environment.

Every expansion, every new residence, and every dollar raised means more lives saved & more people finding hope in recovery. Stay tuned for what’s next ….

What an incredible day on the green! The Hansen Foundation’s 28th Annual Charity Golf Tournament was a smashing success thanks to the incredible support from our amazing community. We couldn’t be more grateful for the generosity and love shown by everyone who joined us— whether you played, donated, or cheered us on from afar. 💜
