Founded and led by Mary Lou Di Muro, this traditional boutique studio in the heart of Venice is dedicated to building a community grounded in compassion, self-care, and holistic well-being. As an ambassador for the World Yoga Federation® and Yoga Gives Back®, Yoga Nest Venice® offers international-standard 200, 300, and 500-hour Teacher Trainings alongside breathwork, sound healing, and reiki. 🕉️🌿

Vibrant murals, historic activism, and five decades of community empowerment. Join us as we celebrate 50 years of SPARC! 🎨🏛️

Founded in 1976 inside a former Venice city jail, the Social and Public Art Resource Center (SPARC) transformed an abandoned space into one of LA’s most vital visual art nonprofits. Led by co-founder and CEO Judith F. Baca, SPARC champions social justice, stewards a world-class mural archive, and created the iconic Great Wall of Los Angeles.

SPARC is celebrating a half-century of public art-making, artist mentorship, and community gathering! 🖼️ Watch history in the making! Visit their Bergamot Station studio (Tue–Sat, 1pm–5pm) to see artists expand The Great Wall live before it gets installed for LA28. Also, look out for their upcoming September exhibit at the new Lucas Museum of Narrative Art and an October partnership with the Skirball Cultural Center!

We had an amazing time at this month's Happy Hour Mixer at La Marina Trattoria in Fisherman’s Village!
Guests unwound by the water with delicious appetizers, cocktails, and the classic sounds of crooner John Barry setting the perfect golden-hour mood. 🎤✨
