Today at the AACA 34th Annual Car Show in Downtown Venice our scouts, along with scouts from Troop 77 and Troop 26, opened the awards ceremony with the Pledge of Allegiance, Scout Oath, and Scout Law! Our kiddos did awesome!

This past Tuesday we celebrated our oldest scouts, the Arrow of Lights (AOLs), as the completed the top rank of Cub Scouts and graduated to their chosen troops! Their Den Leader, Josh Jones, has much to be proud of as he did an amazing job of preparing these scouts for their continued career in scouting. Two of his AOLs made Scout Rank in their very first BSA meeting the following night! Congrats!

It was a night of celebration with a full dinner provided by Brian Brodkorb and the amazing people at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Religious Retreat Center. We’re so proud to graduate 8 amazing scouts and wish them luck on their journey to Eagle!

This past weekend we held our annual Pinewood Derby races! We invited the Venice AACA to bring along some amazing cars to show off before the races began and they did not disappoint! Thank you to everyone who was involved in the planning and ex*****on and thank you to the car owners for showing up for our young scouts! Congrats to all our winners!!

Our Pack is so excited to host a Cruise-in tomorrow! The scouts have been working diligently on their cars and we have a brand new track this year with all the flashy bells and whistles! Open to the public and FREE! check out the event on our page!

We will have a cruise-in at Venice Pack 77’s 2024 Pinewood Derby Race on February 25th. The Pack will be helping out at our 2024 Car Show. Come on out with your old car to support this local youth group.

This weekend was a BLAST! Our AOLs and Webelos competed in the Broke Back Dog Scout Competition against 20+ packs from around the SWFL region in 10 different events. Not only did they take home 4 first place ribbons for these events, they took home 2nd place for OVERALL! To say Den Leader Josh is proud of his AOL Den is an understatement! We can’t stop talking about it! Brady is super proud too as he is the Den Chief for these guys and has a HUGE hand in helping them succeed! Amazing job scouts!!

Come on out and see the Pack 77 Carnival! Completely kid led and FREE! Our scouts have put in a lot of effort to create fun activities to test your skills, and win some fun prizes! Toss a ring or get soaked in our homemade dunk tank! We’re here till 3pm!
