We were able to do so much last week, what an incredible experience. From a block party in Villa Tapia to building two homes, three days of VBS, and a two-day medical clinic, and loved alongside our amazing ministry partners.
Living out Matthew 25:35–36 in real, tangible ways… and most importantly, seeing lives changed as people came to know Jesus.

We’ve lived in the Dominican Republic for over 15 years and have never seen such an intense rainy season, with almost nightly downpours. These photos, taken on our property tonight, show our drainage ditches at full capacity. Please pray with us as the DR experiences significant flooding.

Our very first community event is in the books!

We hosted a free carnival open to anyone who wanted to stop by and it was nothing but joy from start to finish. So much fun, so many smiles, and just a genuine time of loving on our community with no strings attached.

An amazing week serving the least of these. It’s a blessing to see families serving side by side from young children to older adults loving on seniors, encouraging struggling youth, visiting and praying for those in the hospital, and doing a VBS in a public school. So grateful to see God at work through every generation.

One of the things we love most is being able to bless our ministry partners. Last week, we were invited to lead a special service at a youth detention center, sharing worship, a message of hope, and preparing a great meal for them. We’re grateful for moments like these that remind us why we do what we do. Matthew 25:35-36

Last week was an incredible time as we spent the entire week visiting churches throughout the northern region of the Dominican Republic.

Michael Wedman led powerful teaching sessions on how to interpret the Bible, equipping and encouraging leaders in a meaningful way. Each day, over 50 pastors and ministry leaders gathered hungry to learn and grow.

We’re already looking forward to what’s ahead and making plans for Michael to return next year!

Last week, we had the privilege of hosting a group of pastors from the Metro District of the C&MA on a vision trip. As we look ahead to launching a new refuge ministry to the Haitian community, we are deeply grateful for the hearts of these pastors who are coming alongside Mission 2535. Excited for what’s ahead and all that God will do through this partnership.
