Throttles~n~Gears (TnG) along with New Horizon MC (NHMC) host the Annual Cancer Run during the month of August. Road Warriors come from miles to help raise money for those affected by cancer. Rather than using a 3rd party to distribute funds, TnG donates funds directly to those needing a boost. By doing so, we are assured money raised stays in the local riding area. You will be joining a crew of n

early 400 people with big hearts, high spirits and a little sass. Following the actual run portion of the event, rodeo games take place. Games include those on foot and 2 wheels to 18. Once the raffle ticket winners are announced a grand after party begins. The Rope hosts the after party by providing a bar on location and live entertainment. The last few years local cover band, KillingSmallz, has been the Annual Cancer Run entertainment. Concessions are also on site to feed the beast and keep you going. Primitive Camping is available for all participants for both convenience and safety. Spectators, food lovers and music lovers are all encouraged to join us for post run activities. We do not have a cover charge and we promise you will have damn good time. Good Vibes, kick ass hosts along the route, and our stellar Road Warriors make this event one you do not want to miss. You owe yourself to take part and soak in the awe of humans doing amazing human things.

Wanted to let everyone know that at our January meeting it was decided to dissolve Throttles N Gears. We are very proud of being able to donate over $100,000 to cancer victims since 2018. This decision was not an easy one to make and truly appreciate New Horizon MC for being our partner throughout the years and their friendship means the world to us.
We want to thank Sonja & Randi from the Lariat for taking care of the bar & after party...they are 2 of the best. Also Dave from People's State Bank for his years of support and believing in our cause. A special thank you to the volunteers that were ready to help every year as we couldn't have done it without them.
We want to thank all of the clubs... sponsors and everyone that came back year after year to support our cause and enjoy our day. It was amazing seeing over 400 people in 2024 enjoy the run...games...food..the bar and the band.
Thank you everyone for making Throttles N Gears an amazing run.
