Two Waters Arts Alliance Two Waters Arts Alliance (TWAA) is a not for profit 501c3 organization that supports the Fine Arts on

Tax deductable dollars go to the funding of: Artists in Schools (AIS) Resdiency and After School Art (ASA) programing for 4 Key Peninsula Public Schools. In addition TWAA offers special community wide programs like adult workshops, family theater, concerts,and juried/open Art Shows.

TWAA attended STREAM Night at Vaughn Elementary School on April 2 and directed a fun paper project called a "Twirligig" for the students. Moms assisted the youngest children and even some Dads pitched in to help their kids. I'm not sure, but I think the Dads enjoyed constructing the Twirligigs as much as their youngsters.

The reception for the art exhibit at the Mustard Seed was well attended. Guests enjoyed the excellent nibbles that the Mustard Seed's staff provided. If you missed the reception, you can always stop by on week days for their lunches... AND see the exhibit, because it will be hanging for another 2 months!

What a great artwalk! Good music, great vendors, wonderful community. We appreciate everyone who tried their luck with the raffle tickets; Two Waters raised $200 to offset its costs for the event and keep it going another year. You can support us by buying a dollar raffle ticket and dropping it into the bag for the raffle item you'd like to win. Among the items- a creative collection of garlic themed stationary by past resident Beverly Pedersen. (This is what happens when you give an artist a cardboard box full of garlic.)
