Vassar Townsend North Friends of Children Friends of Children is our parent group at Townsend North. One of the main projects is collecting items that help to make money for our school! How can you help?

We have worked with Frankenmuth Fundraising for the last several years to get us started with our funds. We also collect, sort and ship thousands of Box Tops, Campbell's Soup UPCs, Spartan Brand UPCs, and Central Shop Rite Receipts. These have been a wonderful supplement to the money that we have raised. The money is used toward items for special projects. It has also been used towards playground

equipment, Christmas craft supplies, Science Alive, field trips, Running Club, and various other items that help to make the Townsend North experience a memorable one. For starters, tell your friends and family to start saving Box Tops, Labels, and UPCs. We also have various projects throughout the year when we are in need of volunteers. Our current acting president/treasurer is Dawn Biskner. If you have questions, you can contact Townsend North and we will put you in contact with her.

Please, for the future of our Vassar students, plan on attending the February school board meeting. School board meetings are held the second Monday of every month at 6:30 in library.

Friends of Children is accepting new or gently used books for our book sale November 25 and 26 during P/T conferences. Donations can be dropped off at TN office or library.
