Club trails are a bit thin but the guys have done a lot with the snow we have.

We had a groomer break down this week, multiple volunteers stepped up to get it back on the trails. If you see one of them on the trails please thank them!

We’ve quietly been working here and there and doing lots of snow dances.

Attention all Vassalboro snowmobilers. ITS85 has been under major powerline construction all summer, the goal is to be completed and sled-worthy by January 1st. With that being said, use extreme caution on all sections of KVTR trails. Stay safe.

We get messages throughout the winter, “how can I help?”. While we do appreciate anyone who reaches out to us the truth is the majority of our work needs to be done before winter hits. Come out and join us tomorrow morning if you’re able to lend a hand.

We’re getting started on our trail work this Sunday 9/28. Meeting at the clubhouse at 7:30am to get a plan on what needs to be done. Hoping we can get a good portion of our fall work tacked before rifle season is upon us.

Trails in Vassalboro are temporarily closed.

We are hopeful for another large storm. If this happens we will do our best to groom and reopen trails.

Tonight’s in person meeting is CANCELED due to the current condition of our clubhouse driveway (Mud) and trail conditions. Please message the page or comment any immediate question/concerns and we will reply asap.

Trail update 2/21/25:

Groomed Cook mountain and ITS85 north of the clubhouse last night. Cook mountain needs another pass but it’s much better than it was. ITS85 is in the best shape we have seen in 4 years.

We put a combined 16 hours on the groomers just yesterday. Goal is to hit cook mountain today. We have a few long standing volunteers that keep the club going every season. In addition to that we have recently had a few new motivated members join and this is allowing us to get out and put more hours into the trails. Thank you all, enjoy the snow!
