Vashon Maury Community Food Bank We believe that access to nutritious food and supporting resources is a basic human right!

We offer an average of 60 pounds of basic food to anyone in need during our three weekly grocery distributions. We provide a wide range of proteins, fruits and veggies, grains and dairy, including fresh and frozen items. Home Delivery is provided twice a week for those that cannot make it to the Food Bank to shop due to physical or transportation issues. We have information for other available local services and resources, and we host the DSHS mobile van on Wednesday mornings, about every six weeks. We provide other social service organizations with emergency bags of food for those in immediate need at times when the food bank is not open. The Food Bank Farm and Garden is an effort to grow some of our own fresh produce while offering hands on experience about growing vegetables.

A heartfelt THANK YOU to Pepa, Dre, all of our incredible volunteers, staff, and the amazingly talented musicians who helped make our 3rd annual Community Cookout so special.
We are extremely grateful to our wonderful hosts at Crazy Girl Farm, Melissa Mohr & Eric Seidenberger, for opening their beautiful space.
And thank you to everyone who came out to celebrate with us - what turned out to be a truly beautiful day was made even more special because of all of you.

Yesterday, we raised a record-breaking $2,300+ in donations and collected an amazing amount of non-perishable food between Thriftway and IGA. We are so grateful for your generosity and support.

A huge thank you to Ms. Butcher's 3rd grade class for their incredible bake sale contribution to our food and fund drive yesterday!

We are especially impressed by the kindness and compassion these children showed in caring for their neighbors and helping strengthen our community. Thank you for making such a meaningful difference! ❤️
