Tonight's Trunk or Treat at the Vandalia Fairgrounds has been rescheduled for Sunday, October 27th, from 5-8 pm, due to the impending weather. Hope to see you tomorrow evening!

If you’re looking for a fun way to participate in the parade, dress up or decorate 1820’s style! The Vandalia Historical Society is sponsoring a friendly competition to support the “Missouri Struggle for Statehood” exhibit that has chosen our hometown to be a part of. Parade line up will be at 10 am this Saturday September 28th. Parade begins at 11 am. Immediately following the parade the Vandalia Historical Society will be announcing the winners and putting on a special narrative of area pioneers where we can all learn and enjoy a little live history of our amazing state of Missouri!
Vandalia Chamber of Commerce gives a special shout out and thanks to the historical society for their hard work and participation in Prairie Days and for inspiring this years theme - “Prairie Days- Celebrating Missouri Statehood”.

Baby Show and Little Mr. & Miss Prairie Days will be held the morning of Prairie Days, September 28th. Registration is $3 per entry and forms will be available that morning. Registration is at 8:30 am - 9:00 am and judging will begin at 9:00 am.
