We want to send a heartfelt THANK YOU to all of our incredible athletes and Unified Partners for competing so hard at Regionals yesterday! We are so incredibly proud of each and every one of you. You showed determination, teamwork, sportsmanship, and so much heart! ❤️

We also want to thank everyone who helps make all of this possible — our amazing volunteer coaches, families, caregivers, volunteers, supporters, and everyone behind the scenes.

Thank you for your generous donations, the snacks, the goodie bags, the encouragement, and most of all, for showing up and cheering our teams on! 📣👏 Your love and support means more than you know.

It truly takes a village, and we couldn’t do any of this without ALL OF YOU! Thank you for believing in our athletes, supporting our teams, and being such an important part of our Special Olympics family. ❤️💙

Our hearts are with everyone affected by the devastating fires across Eastern Washington, especially our Special Olympics Washington athletes, families, coaches, volunteers, and staff in Spokane, Wenatchee, Leavenworth, Chelan, Okanogan County, and surrounding communities.

The safety of our community comes first. Please follow all evacuation orders and guidance from local authorities. Special Olympics Washington practices, competitions, and events in affected areas may be postponed, relocated, or canceled based on local conditions.

If you or someone in the Special Olympics Washington community has been displaced, experienced a loss, or needs support, please contact us at [email protected]. We are working to understand the needs of our community and how we can help.

We are deeply grateful to the first responders, emergency personnel, and neighbors working tirelessly to keep communities safe. We stand with everyone across Eastern Washington impacted by these fires.

All athletes and Unified Partners must have their SOWA portal cleared by August 30 through November 30, 2026, in order to participate.

Whether you are a new or returning athlete, please make sure your SOWA portal is completed and approved before the deadline.
