It's starting to get cold outside! Right now we are needing warm or winter themed clothing, blankets, sleeping bags, thermos water bottles, and big and tall clothing/shoes. We are available to come pick up any donations as well. Thank you so much for all the continued support, we really appreciate it as we are purely a donation based program.

Hello supporters of the Perch! It's starting to get cold outside, and shelters are full, often with a wait list. We are in dire need of tents, tarps, and sleeping bags! Boots and warm clothing(larger sizes) would also be greatly appreciated. Thank you!!

End of Summer Youth Resource Fair — Fri, Aug 29 | 1:30–5:30 PM
📍 The Perch Parking Lot — 1501 Columbia St, Vancouver, WA
Ages 12–24 | Free to attend

Come hang out at our YAB Chill Zone—shade, water, snacks, and a safe place to relax while you connect with resources.

What to expect:
• 11 youth-focused orgs (housing, jobs, school, health, transit, arts)
• Free haircuts by Kelly Kelly
• Raffle prizes & activities
• Free meal: BBQ pork sandwiches, baked beans, coleslaw, Heath bar brownies — plus ice cream (while it lasts!)

Bring a friend, grab a plate, and get real support from people who care. 💛

The Perch will be closed this upcoming week, Monday, July 28 – Friday, August 1, for staff and program development. We’re using this time to grow, learn, and strengthen how we show up for our youth community 💙

We’ll reopen with our normal hours on Monday, August 4 from 1:30–5:30 PM.

If you need support while we’re closed, you can call the Council for the Homeless Housing Hotline at (360) 695-9677, open daily from 9 AM–8 PM.
