Hello all! Let me introduce myself for those that don’t know me my name is Samantha Watson. I am Dakota’s mom. I am happy to announce that we will be having our next benefit dinner at Washougal Eagles on May 2nd. Here’s where you all come in. I need your help since I am in charge of raffle baskets! Ideas or donated items to create baskets would be much appreciated. I would love to get raffle baskets done early so that we can post pictures a couple weeks ahead of time for all to see what we will be raffling off! Our raffle was a great success last time so I want to make it even better this time! Please give me some raffle ideas or let me know where I might be able to get donated items! Thank you all so much for your help and I hope you plan to attend our next benefit dinner! It will be really fun! Hope to see you there and hey you’re gonna want to buy some raffle tickets!

The Comfort & Care Kits program exists to support adults living with kidney disease and their children during hospital stays by providing thoughtfully assembled kits with comfort items, communication tools, and emotional support resources - easing stress and promoting dignity during times of crisis.

Hospital Emergency Kits a program designed to help adults with kidney disease and their children.

What It Does:
Reduces stress during emergency or unplanned hospital visits.
Provides emotional reassurance to children and caregivers.
Increases preparedness through simple tools and resource cards.

Why It Matters:
Because no one should navigate kidney disease alone.
Shared experience builds strength. Community changes outcomes.

Hospital visits can happen unexpectedly for people living with kidney disease. When an emergency occurs, many patients arrive with little time to gather the basic items that help make a hospital stay more manageable.
