Slow Sundays at The Waterfront Vancouver are the kind of thing locals stop trying to keep secret.

The riverfront path is quiet in the morning. The light off the Columbia River is doing that thing it does in early June. Coffee tastes better outside. Brunch tastes better with a view. And the walkable riverfront district makes the whole loop feel inevitable: park once, wander everywhere.

Here is a Sunday loop worth saving. Start with coffee on a river-view patio. Walk the Renaissance Trail along the Columbia River waterfront. Sit on Grant Street Pier for ten minutes and watch the boats. Brunch at one of the restaurants at the pier (Twigs and WildFin both open early on Sundays; you cannot lose). End the afternoon with a tasting flight at Maryhill Winery or Willamette Valley Vineyards. Three hours, a clear head, and a Sunday that actually felt like one.

Stretches of Waterfront Way will close to vehicle traffic from 3 PM Friday to 6:30 AM Monday, so the whole walkable riverfront district is yours on foot today. Park once at The Waterfront Vancouver Parking Center, 700 W Columbia Way, and follow the river in. The garage sits one block from every patio.

Where is your slow Sunday taking you? Drop it in the comments. And follow our page for weekly Sunday guides, brunch tips, tenant spotlights, and event drops on The Waterfront Vancouver.

Weekend starts at 3PM today. Waterfront Way closes to cars, and the whole walkable riverfront district opens up.

Stretches of Waterfront Way will close to vehicle traffic from 3 PM Friday to 6:30 AM Monday, every weekend through Labor Day and becomes a pedestrian street for the season. That means more room for the patios at the Grant Street Pier to spill out. Quieter conversation. Easier walks with strollers, dogs, and bikes. A clearer view of the Columbia River. The Vancouver Waterfront at its summer best.

Here is the weekend move that locals already know: park once at The Waterfront Vancouver Parking Center (700 W Columbia Way, entrance on Parkway Place). Walk to dinner at one of the restaurants at the Grant Street Pier. Walk out onto the pier for sunset. Walk back to one of the wineries for a tasting flight or a glass. Walk to your car when you are ready. The car-free street makes the whole evening feel like a small vacation an exit off I-5 from home.

Looking for date night ideas in Vancouver WA? Family-friendly things to do this weekend? Brunch with a view? The Waterfront Vancouver covers all of it.

Follow our page for the Friday weekend guide every week, plus weekly tenant spotlights, event drops, parking tips, and the best summer guide to The Waterfront Vancouver.
