Last week, we closed out our Restorative Justice Panel Series with “Power of Forgiveness.”

Throughout the evening, panelists shared deeply personal stories centered on grief, accountability, healing, and the difficult process of moving forward after profound loss. These conversations reminded us that forgiveness is not one moment—it is a journey that looks different for everyone.

The stories shared created space for reflection, understanding, and honest dialogue surrounding the long-term impact violence can have on individuals, families, and communities. 🖤

We recently shared reflections from the evening on our blog and invite you to read more about the experiences, perspectives, and conversations shared during the panel.

Some stories are difficult to hear, but they are important to listen to.

At the Other Side of Crime panel, parents courageously shared memories of their children and the lasting impact of their loss on their families.

Behind every statistic is a life — a son, a daughter, a sibling, a friend.

We are grateful to the families who trusted us to share their voices and honor their children.

Their stories remind us why community, healing, and accountability matter. 🖤
