La familia de Gumercindo y Valentín está atravesando un momento muy difícil y necesita del apoyo de nuestra comunidad.

El jueves 20 de agosto de 2026, Gumercindo y Valentín se encontraban trabajando en el área de Puyallup, Washington, cerca de Tacoma. Durante su jornada acudieron a Home Depot para obtener materiales que necesitaban para su trabajo. Fue en ese momento cuando fueron interceptados y detenidos al salir del Home Depot.

Gumercindo y Valentín son residentes de Longview, Washington, y sus familias se encuentran ahora enfrentando la preocupación, incertidumbre y los gastos que surgen a raíz de esta situación.

Por esta razón, estan recaudando fondos para cubrir los gastos de representación y asistencia legal de Gumercindo y Valentín. Contar con representación legal es una prioridad para sus familias en este momento.

Gumercindo and Valentín’s family is going through a very difficult time and needs the support of our community.

On Thursday, August 20, 2026, Gumercindo and Valentín were working in the Puyallup, Washington area, near Tacoma. During their workday, they went to Home Depot to get materials they needed for their job. It was at that time that they were intercepted and detained as they were leaving Home Depot.

Gumercindo and Valentín are residents of Longview, Washington, and their families are now facing the worry, uncertainty, and expenses that have resulted from this situation.

For this reason, they are raising funds to help cover the costs of legal representation and legal assistance for Gumercindo and Valentín. Securing legal representation is a priority for their families at this time.

Today, we are asking for the support of our community. Any donation, no matter the amount, can make a difference. If you are unable to contribute financially, you can also help by sharing this fundraiser so it can reach more people.

We are getting ready for our Gala with 300 community members, front-line members, familia, and leaders coming together.

Our raffle is all about joy, rest, and giving back to our people. We want every family and community member attending to be able to afford participating. That means low-cost tickets, no high-priced packages, and nothing that requires extra out-of-pocket spending to enjoy.

Debido a las condiciones extremadamente secas y al alto riesgo de incendios forestales, el gobernador Bob Ferguson declaró un Estado de Emergencia.

La prohibición de quemas al aire libre está vigente en los 39 condados hasta el mediodía del 30 de septiembre de 2026, a menos que las condiciones cambien.

Due to critically dry conditions and extreme wildfire danger, Governor Bob Ferguson has declared a State of Emergency.

📅 A statewide outdoor burn ban is in effect for all 39 counties through noon on September 30, 2026, unless conditions change.

🚫 Prohibited:
• Campfires and bonfires
• Burning trash
• Burning yard debris
• Land-clearing and weed-abatement fires
• Most agricultural burning

Limited exceptions:
• Gas or propane grills and stoves used on a nonflammable surface at least 5 feet from dry vegetation.
• Agricultural or forestry burning with a valid permit.
• Campfires in parks, campgrounds, or private fire rings only where local rules allow them.

Cities, counties, parks, and fire districts may have stricter restrictions. Always check local rules before using any outdoor flame.

Help prevent wildfires:
✅ Never leave a grill or fire unattended.
✅ Keep water or a fire extinguisher nearby.
✅ Avoid parking on dry grass.
✅ Use caution with anything that can create sparks.

La familia del señor Darío Alvarado Nieves, quien fue detenido el 27 de julio de 2026, está pasando por un momento muy difícil.

Según su familia, Darío tiene los pies extremadamente hinchados y, hasta el momento, no ha recibido la atención médica que necesita. Están desesperados porque sienten que su estado de salud está empeorando y no saben cuánto más pueda soportar en esas condiciones.

Además de la preocupación por su salud, la familia está haciendo todo lo posible por conseguir representación legal, pero en este momento no cuentan con los recursos económicos suficientes para contratar un abogado.

Hoy necesitan del apoyo de nuestra comunidad. Si está dentro de sus posibilidades, les pedimos que consideren hacer una donación o compartir esta recaudación de fondos. Cada aporte, por pequeño que sea, puede marcar una diferencia y ayudar a esta familia a mantenerse a flote mientras continúan luchando por reunificarse.

According to his family, Darío's feet are severely swollen, and he has not received the medical care he urgently needs. They are desperate because they believe his health is getting worse and do not know how much longer he can endure these conditions.

On top of their concerns about his health, the family is doing everything they can to obtain legal representation, but they do not have the financial resources to hire an attorney at this time.
