🎒 Packapalooza is officially underway!

Our morning was filled with school supplies, sorting and LOTS of teamwork! We spent the morning organizing all the generous donations from our amazing community partners, and now our Family-Community Resource Coordinators are having a little back-to-school shopping spree of their own! 🛒

They’re “shopping” for the supplies their schools need most, helping make sure VPS students have the tools they need to start the school year ready to learn.

A HUGE THANK YOU to our incredible community partners who participated in our Write from the Start school supply drive, and to all of the volunteers who helped make Packapalooza possible!

⭐ Special shout-out to the members of the Rotary Club of Three Creeks for rolling up their sleeves and joining us!

Our partners from Legacy Health will be here today until 6 pm offering FREE immunizations and sports physicals for VPS students!

The first day of school is just around the corner, and we’re helping families get ready with FREE immunizations and sports physicals in partnership with Legacy Health.

“Today, we’re not just celebrating a new facility, we’re celebrating an investment in our students.” ~ Katie Siewert, Career and College Readiness Director with Vancouver Public Schools

This morning, members of our community gathered to celebrate the ribbon cutting of the Ed Lynch Trades Center!

This state-of-the-art facility, made possible through the generosity of donors, opens the door to more hands-on training opportunities for Vancouver Public Schools students as they prepare for careers in the manufacturing trades. The Foundation for Vancouver Public Schools was proud to bring together donors, community partners and VPS staff to help make this exciting project a reality.

A big thank you to the Ed & Dollie Lynch Fund, Quail Homes and all of the generous supporters who helped bring this new space to life! 🛠️🎓

We can’t wait to see the opportunities this space creates for VPS students!
