πŸ“… It's September 1st, which means GiveMore24! is right around the corner.

This year, on September 24th, Clark College Foundation is asking the Penguin Nation to rally together and support scholarships for Clark students. In 2025-2026, Clark College Foundation awarded over $2.2 million in scholarships to Clark students, and thanks to the Penguin Nation, 880 students received that support.

Every scholarship is more than financial help. It gives a student the confidence to stay enrolled, focus on their studies, and continue on the path toward graduation, transfer, or career success. It tells them that there is an entire community behind them.

Mark your calendars and get ready to give. Let's help even more students reach their goals this year. πŸ’™πŸ§

What is a Penguin? 🐧

For Jordan Boldt, being a Penguin is about staying connected to the community and helping create opportunities for others to thrive.

As President of the Columbia River Economic Development Council, Jordan brings more than 20 years of experience in business development, community partnerships, and placemaking across Southwest Washington.

A Clark College connection is more than where you started. It’s something you carry with you into the community. πŸ’™

Hear from Jordan about what being a Penguin means to him.

🎨 What a great event at the The Vancouver USA Arts & Music Festival!

As a programming collaborator, Clark College Foundation helped bring a taste of Clark College's creative talent to downtown Vancouver, featuring student work from Clark's Baking, Visual Arts, and Creative Writing programs.

Brought all the way from Seattle, the Clown Garage delighted audiences with their signature blend of artistry and absurdity, showcasing their Waddle Ensemble and Teatime performances.

This festival was a reminder of just how much creativity lives within the Penguin Nation. πŸ’™πŸŽ

Thank you to everyone who came out to celebrate the arts with us! 🐧

πŸŽ“ It's National Scholarship Month!

Scholarships can mean the difference between a student staying enrolled or having to step away. Last fiscal year alone, Clark College Foundation awarded $2.2 million in scholarships to over 880 students, helping remove financial barriers and keep students focused on their education.

Behind every scholarship is a student working toward a degree, a career, and a better future.
