God’s grace and faithfulness is beyond words or any expectations… when we open EMC school in 2005, with 90 students ages 3-7, we’ve never pictured this day! The first graduation class from Emmanuel Mission Center, after 20 years of teaching, educating and investing in the next generation! Our hearts are full… emotions run deep… so much to be grateful for… and we could not have done this without our faithful friends and supporters! Thank you 🙏

May every seed of God’s Word that was planted in these precious souls bring forth an eternal reward and lives transformed by Jesus’s love!

We partnered with Rosemary, a Brazilian missionary and nurse who is been in Gambia for 19 years, working in hospitals, clinics and lately in the deaf school, since she knows sign language. She organized a workshop for deaf girls, with the aim to educate them about body safety, what is appropriate and what is not acceptable in regard to males touching them, how to ask for help… some of our staff volunteers in this workshop - teaching, hugging, cooking and serving in whatever capacity they could to make this a huge success! These precious girls just wanted to be hugged and loved! What an impact on their lives!

We had the amazing opportunity to attend the MENACA conference last week, and what an incredible experience! To spend time with people who live in this regions, hear their stories and learn about their challenges, restrictions and the opportunities to share the Gospel! The work that God is doing in spite of all that is happening around them….Their passion for Jesus and perseverance in spite of all the challenges is so inspiring! And to be with these two young ladies made it even more special 💗

So much fun sharing this week about Gambia and the school, with children during VBS. We had them carry baby dolls on their backs like the women in Gambia carry their babies, and “ firewood “ for cooking. Just to experience a little of what we see around us every day in Gambia. Praying for God to plant seeds in these children’s hearts to answer His call one day, to “ Go and make disciples of all nations!”

We so enjoyed the Shared Blessings Appreciation Dinner, seeing old and new friends and celebrating what God has done over the last 26 years! It is truly humbling to be surrounded by so many people who love God and love us, people that have been supporting us faithfully and the vision God has given us for the people of Gambia! We look forward many more years of following His guidance!

We had the privilege of speaking at Rinus’s church in Elderbrook last Sunday and share about the work of God in Gambia through Shared Blessings ministry. We met with several retired missionaries and also young couples who served in different countries. For such a small village, it’s amazing how many missionaries have come out of this community! Looking forward to seeing some of them in Gambia!

What a privilege to share with brothers and sisters in Christ in the Netherlands! Beautiful people, loving and welcoming! We met believers from Syria and Iraq in this church! Our hearts are filled with joy and love, Jesus is revealing His majesty to his children from every nation, tribe and language! 🙌💜
