Apple Mae and her wonderful mom are near and dear to us here at Wst Coast Bloodhound Rescue! Please give her a vote! A bloodhound has never made it to the cover of modern dog! Let’s make history!

Apple Mae is a search and rescue dog and has helped to locate hundreds of lost pets. She is a narcissistic bloodhound.Everything is about her

STILL AVAILABLE - Meet Boone

Boone is a very handsome 3-year-old, neutered male Bloodhound weighing about 110 lbs. He had a rough first year of life, but despite that, he’s still very much a puppy at heart.

Boone is:
• 🐶 Great with other dogs
• 🐱 Good with cats
• 🚗 Loves car rides
• 🤪 Goofy, sweet, playful and huggable
• 🎶 Owner of an awesome, deep Bloodhound howl and bay

Boone is still learning and will need:
• Continued basic training
• Help with crate training
• Separate feeding (currently being fed apart)

Because of his size, sensitivity, and past experiences, Boone would do best in a stable, calm home with no children, where he can continue to build confidence and feel secure.

He’s a big, lovable boy with a gentle soul who will thrive with patient, consistent guidance and lots of love.

📍 Currently fostered in Vancouver, Washington

If you’re looking for a loyal companion with classic Bloodhound charm and don’t mind a little drool and a lot of love, Boone could be your guy.

💙 Foster, foster-to-adopt, or adopt — Boone is ready for his second chance.

❤️ADOPTED❤️

Meet Cletus! 🐾

He’s being fostered in Cottage Grove OR

Cletus is a joyful, energetic, 4-year-old neutered red male bloodhound who loves life and everyone in it! He’s friendly with people of all ages, including kids, and gets along wonderfully with other dogs—and even cats.

Cletus is kennel and potty trained, and while he does well on leash, he could use a little extra practice. He’s eager to learn and please, so with some consistency, he’ll pick up new commands and manners quickly. His sweet personality makes training a fun experience.

This happy boy loves toys, bones, and playtime with other dogs. He also enjoys outings and does great in public settings. Cletus is the kind of companion who will brighten your days with his big heart, playful spirit, and love for life.

If you’re looking for a loyal, cheerful buddy who’s always ready for adventure (and snuggles), Cletus might just be the perfect match! ❤️

Meet Miss Moneypenny!

Located in Medford, OR
🎂 Age: 4 years
⚖️ Weight: 91 lbs

This stunning and affectionate girl came into rescue, along with her brother, after the heartbreaking loss of their owner. Now Miss Moneypenny is ready to find a forever family that will adore her as much as she’ll adore them.

💖 Personality & Home Life

Miss Moneypenny is the sweetest soul you could hope to meet — a true cuddle bug who loves giving kisses and would happily curl up in your lap if you let her! She’s mellow, gentle, and easygoing, but curious about her surroundings and quick to investigate new sounds.

She’s crate trained, newly in love with dog beds (which she thinks are “beyond groovy!”), and also enjoys lounging on her outdoor cot with a plush sheepskin cover and a favorite elk antler chew.

Miss Moneypenny is well-behaved in the home, although she will “counter surf” if food is left unattended. With a little continued guidance, she’s learning quickly and wants to please.

🧠 Training & Socialization

Although she didn’t receive formal obedience training in her previous home, Moneypenny is a fast learner. She’s already picking up basic obedience and would thrive with a positive-reinforcement obedience class and leash training.

She crates beautifully and is adjusting wonderfully to new environments and routines.

🐶 Other Animals & Kids

Moneypenny grew up with her brother and has shown she can live peacefully with another dog — especially if given a little time to warm up. Recently, she spent over a week with a 16-month-old Red Heeler and ended up sharing her cot and playing happily!

She could be an only dog, especially if her humans are home often and give her lots of attention, but she’d likely enjoy having a regular dog friend to visit or live with.

She has not been tested with cats or small animals — she does love to chase birds, so extra care should be taken with small pets.

She’s reported to be great with kids, but she does love to give her paw — which, at her size, might be a bit much for very small children.

🏡 Ideal Home

Miss Moneypenny is looking for a home where:
• She’ll be cherished as a family member
• There’s plenty of affection and cuddle time
• Training is approached with kindness and patience
• She either has a canine companion or her people are home often
• Bird chasing is either encouraged (hello big backyard!) or safely managed

💬 In Her Foster’s Words

“She’s turning out to be even better than we could have hoped — sensitive, sweet, and absolutely joyful to have around. She’s a love bug who just wants to be close to her people.”

If you’re looking for a devoted companion with soulful eyes, a loving heart, and just the right balance of playfulness and calm, Miss Moneypenny might just be your perfect match.

💌 Inquire today to meet this extraordinary girl!

ADOPTED

🐾Meet Copper! 🐾

Copper is a 4-year-old, 108 lb, black-and-tan bloodhound who is as handsome as he is affectionate. This big, gentle boy is neutered, up to date on his vaccinations, and ready to find his forever family.

Location - Maricopa, Arizona

Copper loves being close to his people—belly rubs, leaning in for snuggles, and just hanging out are some of his favorite things. He has a playful side too—he’ll fetch on occasion and enjoys chewing on toys, but he’s just as happy lounging on cool tile after some fun.

He does well with other medium to large dogs and knows several commands, including sit, down, and shake. Copper is both crate-trained and housebroken, and he rides nicely in his crate when needed.

Like many hounds, Copper has a few quirks: so he eats in his crate unless he’s the only dog in the home, he would do best with older kids and a family willing to continue working with him. He’s also still a bit of a chewer, so he’d thrive in a home where someone is around most of the time.

With his soulful eyes, goofy lean-ins, and big heart, Copper will make a wonderful family dog for the right match. He just needs a loving home that understands his needs, keeps tempting garbage and food out of reach, and doesn’t mind regular ear cleanings (bloodhound ears require maintenance!).

If you’re looking for a loyal companion to love, lounge, and laugh with—Copper may be your guy! ❤️🐶
