Meet Miss Moneypenny!
Located in Medford, OR
🎂 Age: 4 years
⚖️ Weight: 91 lbs
This stunning and affectionate girl came into rescue, along with her brother, after the heartbreaking loss of their owner. Now Miss Moneypenny is ready to find a forever family that will adore her as much as she’ll adore them.
⸻
💖 Personality & Home Life
Miss Moneypenny is the sweetest soul you could hope to meet — a true cuddle bug who loves giving kisses and would happily curl up in your lap if you let her! She’s mellow, gentle, and easygoing, but curious about her surroundings and quick to investigate new sounds.
She’s crate trained, newly in love with dog beds (which she thinks are “beyond groovy!”), and also enjoys lounging on her outdoor cot with a plush sheepskin cover and a favorite elk antler chew.
Miss Moneypenny is well-behaved in the home, although she will “counter surf” if food is left unattended. With a little continued guidance, she’s learning quickly and wants to please.
⸻
🧠 Training & Socialization
Although she didn’t receive formal obedience training in her previous home, Moneypenny is a fast learner. She’s already picking up basic obedience and would thrive with a positive-reinforcement obedience class and leash training.
She crates beautifully and is adjusting wonderfully to new environments and routines.
⸻
🐶 Other Animals & Kids
Moneypenny grew up with her brother and has shown she can live peacefully with another dog — especially if given a little time to warm up. Recently, she spent over a week with a 16-month-old Red Heeler and ended up sharing her cot and playing happily!
She could be an only dog, especially if her humans are home often and give her lots of attention, but she’d likely enjoy having a regular dog friend to visit or live with.
She has not been tested with cats or small animals — she does love to chase birds, so extra care should be taken with small pets.
She’s reported to be great with kids, but she does love to give her paw — which, at her size, might be a bit much for very small children.
⸻
🏡 Ideal Home
Miss Moneypenny is looking for a home where:
• She’ll be cherished as a family member
• There’s plenty of affection and cuddle time
• Training is approached with kindness and patience
• She either has a canine companion or her people are home often
• Bird chasing is either encouraged (hello big backyard!) or safely managed
⸻
💬 In Her Foster’s Words
“She’s turning out to be even better than we could have hoped — sensitive, sweet, and absolutely joyful to have around. She’s a love bug who just wants to be close to her people.”
⸻
If you’re looking for a devoted companion with soulful eyes, a loving heart, and just the right balance of playfulness and calm, Miss Moneypenny might just be your perfect match.
