The biggest lesson you can learn as a business owner isn’t about marketing, pricing, or algorithms…

It’s realizing that not everyone gets unlimited access to your time.

You can care deeply about your clients while still protecting your evenings.
You can provide exceptional service without answering messages at all hours.
You can say “no” without feeling guilty.

Boundaries aren’t about pushing people away, they’re about protecting the energy, focus, and balance that allow you to show up at your best.

Shannon brings organization, attention to detail, and a commitment to helping our board operate effectively. As Secretary, she helps keep WEO running smoothly by maintaining accurate meeting records, supporting board communications, and ensuring important information is documented and shared.

Behind the scenes, she plays a vital role in preserving the organization's history, keeping the board organized, and supporting the governance that allows WEO to continue serving and empowering women in business.

✨ Wearing every hat in the business

The flexibility is amazing, but it comes with a whole lot of hard work that most people never see.

We wouldn’t trade it for anything, but “making our own schedule” definitely doesn’t mean working less. 🤍
