Thank you to everyone who joined us for the first day of Candidates on the Water! It was a great opportunity to connect with each candidate, experience Vancouver Lake firsthand, and to learn about the challenges and opportunities facing this incredible community asset. We appreciate the candidates who took the time to listen, ask questions, and invest in understanding the future of the lake. We look forward to six more candidates next week!

What future do you see for Vancouver Lake?

A stronger destination for recreation, tourism, local business, and community life? Or another opportunity that never reaches its full potential?

For years, Vancouver Lake has faced ongoing water quality challenges that impact recreation, reliability, and long-term economic opportunity across Clark County. Now, there’s finally a science-based path forward with realistic strategies that could improve conditions for decades to come.

Join the HDSCBA on June 10 at 12 PM as guest speaker Adrienne Mason shares the history of the lake, today’s challenges, and what the future could look like with coordinated action and investment.

This conversation matters to Hazel Dell, Salmon Creek, and the future of Clark County.
