We recently filmed a video highlighting the impact of Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library and our organization’s role as a local affiliate. Through this program, children receive free, high-quality books each month, helping foster a love of reading and support early learning from the very beginning.

A heartfelt thank you to Saba Productions, Atifa and her sweet family, and our Executive Director, Debbie Ham, for participating and helping to bring this video to life. We are grateful for everyone who helped make the video possible and are excited to continue spreading the word about the importance of early literacy and access to books for every child.

Today, we are heartbroken by the passing of Dolly Parton.

Dolly was so much more than a beloved entertainer and cultural icon. She was a champion for children, literacy, and the simple but powerful belief that every child deserves the opportunity to have a book of their very own.

As a local Imagination Library affiliate, we have been incredibly proud to be part of the legacy Dolly created, putting books into the hands of children and helping families build a lifelong love of reading.

Her generosity, kindness, and commitment to children have touched countless lives, and her impact will continue through every child who opens an Imagination Library book, discovers a new story, and dreams a little bigger because of it.

We are grateful for the extraordinary legacy Dolly leaves behind and honored to help carry her vision forward.

So many fun ideas! 🎉

Ketchup on cereal? Bananas on spaghetti? 🍌 This Vroom Tip turns mealtime into a brain-building silly game. Take turns thinking up the funniest topping combinations you can — then decide what actually sounds good. Your kiddo is thinking critically and creatively at the same time!

At mealtime, can you turn choosing food toppings into a matching game? Ask your child something silly like, "How about some ketchup on the cereal?" Or, "Do you want bananas on your spaghetti?" Ask them what would sound good to them. Take turns thinking up funny options. Then, decide on which topping to use!

What's the Brainy Background? 🧠 Your child needs to think about what they already know in Tricky Toppings. Figuring out what goes together is an important learning skill. You're also stretching their thinking as you help them think creatively. Making unusual connections is the basis for creative thinking! 💡
