The journey of life is filled with trials, troubles and problems of all kinds. The problems of this world can seem too big, too intense, too much to handle alone. Women often feel alone, or are stuck in the old way of struggling through life. Whether women are struggling with an unfaithful spouse, the aftermath of their own infidelity, domestic violence or abus
e, a pregnancy loss, the death of a loved one, a history of drug or alcohol abuse, the challenge of having a loved one incarcerated or other life dominating issues – we show them that there are answers. We show women that they are not alone. We help them get unstuck and point them in a new direction. We provide biblical truth that offers long-term solutions. Counselors, mentors and group leaders are equipped to teach timeless truths and apply them to the concerns that occur daily and hurt deeply. We asked,
What if God’s people are called to develop an effective help that reaches the deep issues of the heart through carefully applying the Scriptures? What would happen if the hope of the Gospel were to be made central in the counseling process and in relationship building, mentoring and discipleship? Does biblical wisdom really make the best sense of the complicated data that arises during the process of overcoming the troubles of this world? What are the results when bold truth is embedded in lavish grace? The results are beauty from ashes, joy instead of mourning and praise that replaces despair – hopelessness becomes HOPE! There is Hope is a ministry of women helping women overcome the troubles of this world by the truth of God’s Word. This is not a wishy-washy hope based on wishful thinking. This is hope based on certainty. We know that the answers to the struggles of living are found in the Bible. Our trained and certified biblical counselors and additional trained staff, come alongside women with both biblical solutions and practical help. We show them how to live as VICTORS and how to live with VIRTUE. We teach the truth of victory shown in Romans 8:28, “All things work together for good to those that love the Lord and are called according to His purpose.” But we also remember that we are to grow in virtue and Christ-likeness as seen in Romans 8:29, “For whom He foreknew, He also predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son, that He might be the firstborn among many brethren;” thus the coupling of VICTORY and VIRTUE.
