"I've loved building things since I was a kid, there's something magical about having an idea and then bringing it into the real world. When I reconnected with my Scandinavian roots and started building saunas in 2020, something came back to life for me. Saunas are such a wonderful combination of form and function, everything has to come together just right for the dimensions to be both aesthetically pleasing and to feel right for the body. I love searching for those unique versions where the mind and body can unwind and relax."

We had a great time at the BIG PAC Auction for Political Action last night!

People from across our community came together in a night of fun, games, prizes and giving towards a great cause. Through everyone's generous support, the Building Industry Group can continue its mission of protecting the dream of homeownership for residents of Clark County. Special shout out to Todd Myers with Washington Policy Center for being our keynote speaker! Thank you to everyone who attended, donated and sponsored this event. Home buyers face increased costs during the home buying process, in part due, to the challenges and costs builders face in the devlopmental stage. This is why advocating for industry-friendly policies is so important.

The BIG PAC works tirelessly in our community on behalf of such policies. Through their advocacy efforts, the American Dream of homeownership in Clark County continues to be fought for and valued. Lots of expenses and challenges that developers face are often unseen by the public. For example, new developments often will have to front the expenses for HOA's as communities get up and running. This adds expenses to the developer's overhead and makes projects more expensive to complete.

As our area needs more and more houses, it's critical to advocate for industry-friendly policies and policy makers to keep development attainable for our local constructors.
