📣Tonight! We need your support championing for Fircrest at tonight’s Facility Review Community Info Session.

What: Community Info. Session

Where: Wy'east Middle School

When: Monday Oct. 5 6:00 PM- 8:00 PM

Evergreen Public Schools are considering closing three elementary schools and one middle school at the conclusion of this 26/27 school year due to low enrollment. That means our school boundaries will be redrawn and our students will be split up.

Fircrest Elementary is one of the schools to potentially be closed. Fircrest is home to some of the most vulnerable students in our district.

Did you know 65% of Fircrest Students fall into the low-income category? 15.6% of Fircrest Students are without housing. These families have spent years building trusting relationships with Fircrest staff, students and community to champion for their students to have the best education.

Fircrest is a true neighborhood school, with many walking to and from school each day. Parents congregate outside pickup, coordinate play dates at the neighborhood park. These students and their families have a special connection within our community and deserve to be heard.
