As a retired teacher/librarian, I especially honor how she helped get books into the hands of children, and helped pay for and encourage students to study and go to college. THANK YOU, DOLLY! So many wonderful groups coming to the Peace and Justice Fair! They all work to bring peace and justice to our community and world. Here are some of the groups:
A Caring Closet, Akin, American Association of University Women, American Field Service, Artists for Palestine, Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church, Called To Love, Catholic Community Services International Foster Care, Camas Friends Church, Citizens Climate Lobby, Clark College Office of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion, Clark County Food Bank, Clark Public Defense Office, Clark Neighbors Food Project, CSEJ - The Collective for Social and Environmental Justice at WSU Vancouver, Columbia Riverkeeper, Community in Motion, Couve Collective And that is just those from A to C!

We are excited about all the groups coming to the Peace and Justice Fair on Saturday, September 12th at Esther Short Park! We have a new group, Vancouver Washington Tool Library! It is a group that is working to have tools they can loan out to people who would like to borrow them. Want to help? Have a tool or more you would like to donate? Bring them down to the fair! They take plug-in and manual tools, not any gas-powered or battery powered at this time. I love this!

If you take The Columbian, today’s paper (Saturday, June 27th) has a special insert called “Washington State’s role in the 250 years of the United States of America.” On page 30 is a super article about the Vancouver Peace and Justice Fair, honoring the fair and especially the Americans that we reenact at the fair. Are you part of a group that works for peace or justice? Your group might want to bring a table to the Vancouver Peace and Justice Fair. Our registration application is on our website, vancouverpeaceandjusticefair.org. Deadline for signing up is July 31, but we stop taking applications when we have filled the park. $50 to be an exhibitor. We'd love to have you come!
