We love fish release season!

Salmon in the Classroom schools are releasing their baby salmon into local waterways and wishing them well on their next adventures. It is a joyful day; witnessing the connection students have made with their salmon and the care they show for their success. ๐ŸŸ๐Ÿ’š

Good luck, little fish! We hope to see you back here as adults when it is time to spawn.

We had another fantastic group of volunteer at last weekend's Stewardship Saturday! The volunteers moved wheelbarrows of bark chips and spruced up our Secret Camp so it is ready for summer camps!

Thank you for all your hard work!

During the 4-day City Nature Challenge in April, over 100,000 people from 700+ cities around the world uploaded more than 3 million observations. Over 76,000 species were identified around the world! ๐Ÿ’š๐ŸŒŽ

It was fun to be a participant right here in Vancouver where 700 people made 26,000 observations and identified nearly 2,000 species!

Being part of a worldwide effort to collect data about species from all corners of the earth is pretty magical. We look forward to being a part of this fun event again next year!
