Kat and Marianne here, we’ve been reflecting on the past 5 years and how grateful we are for this journey.
From Kat:
When I moved back to Vancouver in 2021 to open Dandelion with my mom, I had been away for 10 years. My hope was that we could create a space where everyone was welcome, where folks could build connections, where anyone would feel at home, and selfishly, where I could find my people. Not only have these dreams come true, but this community that we have all built over the last 5 years is more incredible than we ever dreamed. You all fill my heart every day, and you are the reason I love showing up to the teahouse every day. Thank you so much for believing in us and supporting us, we love you!!!!
From Marianne:
I can’t believe it has been 5 years since we opened. I am always amazed by the support from the community! When Kat and I started the Tea House it was just a little more than a dream and now the dream has come full circle. We have a community, I am blessed that you all have joined us on our journey. Part of our initial vision was to, “expand our vision and grow as a company, creating a place for our community to gather, learn, and laugh together through special events, wellness workshops, skincare classes, and of course - cups of tea!” I think we hit the mark and in the process realized that we needed to expand the community work as there was such a great need. Becoming a non profit was, of course, the next step. Thanks for being with us, as we could not have done it without you! With love, Cheers to all!
