Through scholarship, internships and education grants, The Diversify Veterinary Medicine Coalition helps to remove obstacles that hinder underrepresented students from pursuing a career in veterinary medicine. Ultimately, this will help improve the quality of veterinary care by fostering a more inclusive veterinary community.

Throwback to with DVMC Education Grant Recipient, Sydney Paris! 📸✨

Sydney, a 3rd-year veterinary student at Cornell University, shared what receiving a DVMC Education Grant meant to her as a first-generation, low-income student:

“It’s helpful to be seen and to see someone who comes from a similar background as me and is now successful… It’s amazing and very inspiring, so I have something to work for.” 💙
