Meet Dr. Manraj Kaur Grewal, a second-year small animal surgery resident at the University of Florida and our next ACVS Resident Education Travel Grant Recipient! ✨

Today, as she advances through her surgery residency, Dr. Grewal recognizes the importance of representation and mentorship in specialty medicine:

“It’s very encouraging to know that people that look like me and have different experiences can still do what their dreams and aspirations are… I’m really thankful and excited to be part of a community that provides the support that little me would have loved to see.” 💙

By sharing her journey, Dr. Grewal hopes to pave the way and show future veterinary professionals that their goals are within reach. We are so proud to support Dr. Grewal as she continues to inspire the next generation of veterinary surgeons! 🙌
