🔴 Mark your Calendars! Adoption Event! 🔴
Join Jackson County Animal Shelter Gautier, MS in our adoption event at the Gautier mullet festival!
We will be there 9am- until ( depending on adoptions!)
Adoption fees for dogs and cats include spay/neuter, rabies, first set of vaccinations, deworming, microchip, and a free vet exam to any vet in Jackson County within the first seven business days of adoption!

✨ help us get as many homes for these pets as we can! Our goal is to go back with an empty van!

Chandra and her sister Furbie have a heart-wrenching tale to tell, a story of resilience and the unwavering bond between siblings. These two pups came to us with a history of neglect, as their previous owners failed to adjust their collars as they grew, resulting in embedded collars causing deep, painful wounds. It's a heartbreaking reminder of the importance of responsible pet ownership. Despite the hardships they've faced, Chandra and Furbie remain incredibly loving and gentle and now their wounds are all healed up. They adore making new friends, revel in playtime in the yard, and have an undeniable affinity for cuddles and treats. Chandra and Furbie are ready to embark on a new chapter filled with warmth and care. Their journey to find a forever home may have been tough, but their spirits are unbroken, and they are deserving of the love and spoils that a committed family can provide. Meet Mailman! This short chunky dude has been at the shelter for 263 days. He really is a bit of a chunky boy because he has been here so long waiting for his forever home. Mailman is a super sweet Pitty mix about 3 years old. He is good on a leash, good with dogs, neutered, chipped and up to date on shots. Mailman is our second longest resident and deserves a good home! Please Share!!!
