Lewis County Operation Hero Preservation The goal of Lewis County Operation Hero Preservation is to record the stories of service and sacrifice of veterans from Lewis County.

These stories will be preserved for future generations.

We have had several veterans and family members reach out about being part of this project. As part of the interview and recording we would like each veteran to bring in a picture from their time of service. This would be a nice thing to include in the recording.

Welcome to our page. Our goal at Lewis County Operation Hero Preservation is to record the stories of all Lewis County Veterans. The stories of these heroes needs to be told by those heroes who sacrificed by serving their country. We know that sometimes these experiences are not easy to talk about, our goal is to allow the veteran to talk about their time of service in a one-on-one environment. Many veterans have not told their story, we want to record and preserve those stories for future generations. It is the veteran who sacrificed so that we may live free.
