These 2nd graders from Van Wert City Schools just finished their winter session of Career Connections. Eric Hurless led this class for 6 lessons with discussion and activities focused on learning more about their community, the value of coins, saving money and wants and needs. The students seem pretty pleased with their new piggy banks!

Volunteers have been in 2nd grade and 4th grade classrooms teaching lessons since early October ... 🍂🍁our fall session will be wrapping up soon and winter sessions begin in January❄️🌬️!

I ❤️ my 4th graders! I finished up another session of Career Connections of Van Wert County last week. I’m so impressed with every class I work with. Their faces light up with the best ideas for new businesses. A great reminder, that with some encouragement and guidance, our kids really can be anything they desire! ❤️
