The 2026 Van Wert County Fair is officially here! We’re kicking off Fair Week today with plenty to see and do, so be sure to check out the schedule below and make your plans for Opening Day.

Tonight, we’ll kick off our week of grandstand events with Harness Racing at 6:30 PM. Admission to the harness racing is FREE, so come out and enjoy an evening at the fair while watching the races!

Register by September 30th, VW YWCA will provide a new workshop in conjunction with Domestic Violence Awareness Month during October.

The YWCA of Van Wert County is offering an opportunity to better understand the complexities of domestic violence and the tactics abusers use to maintain control over their partners with an online video series: 𝑻𝒂𝒌𝒆 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝑾𝒉𝒆𝒆𝒍: 𝑨 𝑪𝒓𝒂𝒔𝒉 𝑪𝒐𝒖𝒓𝒔𝒆 𝒊𝒏 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝑷𝒐𝒘𝒆𝒓 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝑪𝒐𝒏𝒕𝒓𝒐𝒍 𝑾𝒉𝒆𝒆𝒍

The series will feature short videos explaining each section of the power and control wheel and highlighting specific behaviors commonly exhibited by perpetrators of intimate partner violence.
