🌟 Thank you, Paulding Putnam Electric Cooperative! 🌟

We’re so grateful for the $500 donation from the Operation Round Up program to help us continue providing educational materials and victim information to those we serve.

A special thank you to Kent McMillen! Kent was our first director and one of our original founders when the organization was formed in 1993, and to this day, he remains an active member of our board. His dedication continues to inspire our mission every day.

Thank you, again, Paulding Putnam, for supporting victims and survivors in our community! 💙

📢 Exciting News – We now have a cell phone!📢

Need support? Have questions? Just want to talk? You can now TEXT an advocate directly!

Here’s what this means for the people we serve:

✅ Safer & More Private – Texting can feel less intimidating and more discreet, especially for those unable to make a call. And, survivors can reach out on their own terms, without needing to explain their situation out loud.
📞 Faster Access to Help – Advocates are often in court or out in the community; texting ensures quicker, more direct communication.
🚪 Easier to Reach Us – Whether it’s a question, update, or just someone to talk to, help is only a text away.
💬 Quick & Responsive – Survivors will be able to get answers and emotional support faster than ever.
🔄 Never Feel Out of the Loop – Consistent communication helps build trust and keeps everyone engaged.
🤝 Stronger Connection – With easier access to information and updates, victims stay empowered, supported, and informed throughout the process.

We know that reaching out can be hard. That’s why we’re committed to making our services as accessible and supportive as possible. This new phone is one more way we’re breaking down barriers; ensuring survivors have direct access to the help they need, when they need it.💙
