LAPD - Mid Valley Police Council Crime Prevention is Everyone's Responsibility Mid Valley is the primary private support mechanism for the Los Angeles Police Department's Van Nuys Division.

What is not supplied to the Division by the City is supplemented by Mid Valley. This could include everything from soft-ball team t-shirts, to vital field tactical equipment, as well as the ongoing moral support for our officers. Our mission is ultimately to serve the members and businesses of the Van Nuys' community, and our direct support for the Division is critical to their success at Protecting and Servicing the community...
We invite anyone interested in supporting the local law enforcement agency to join us.

Wow - a great time was had by all at the 2026 Cops & Cowboys Gold Star Awards Saturday night at the historic Leonis Adobe Museum & Ranch. Mid-Valley Police Council was honored to recognize: Arlene & Joe Mantegna, Blake Griffin and our own Larry Hanna with this year's Gold Star Awards. Hosted by the one and only Wendy Burch (10th year), this Hoedown & BBQ once again exceeded everyone's expectations. Over 300 guests were treated to Country/Rock 'n Roll music by The Mary White Band; blackjack and poker with the Dealer Dolls, fun live and silent auctions, tasty BBQ from StoneFire Grill, and the Mechanical Bull contest went into overtime! The dance floor was busy until closing!! Check out a few photos - more to come!
