RiverOaks enjoyed a special 'Chorus Camp' Saturday, August 8, with Laura Pallas and our wonderful director, Anthony Concepcion. We are so very blessed to be the recipients of our dear Marty Elcan's emailed notes summarizing Laura's presentation. Between Anthony's July 18th summary of points RE ten of our songs, and this session, we have all the resource we need for each of us to practice our craft between rehearsals, and demonstrate the value of their mentorship during our upcoming rehearsals. So...... let's get busy, fellow songmates!!!!

RiverOaks is delighted to welcome our newest member, Pam Dyne! We’re so happy to have you joining our musical family and adding your voice to our harmony.
Pam's mother was a member of Sweet Adelines for many years. Pam has been taking voice lessons weekly for over 10 years; she has also sung with a synagogue choir, and currently enjoys singing in a rock band.

A huge congratulations to our three incredible members on receiving their 20-Year Longevity Awards! That’s two decades of harmonies, friendships, rehearsals, performances, and probably knowing every note before the director even gives the pitch. 😉

On April 18th, we journeyed to Ridgecrest, CA for our annual Region 11 competition / convention. Many of our newest members joined us on stage for their very first experience; Alex, Bianca, Carol, Dana, Gigi, and Isamara. RiverOaks is so grateful to have these lovely ladies contributing to our love of a capella singing. Unfortunately, we were the first to compete. Due to initial technical difficulties, the Region 11 video captured us just walking off stage. Fortunately, we have photos to document the importance of our time together. Given our lineup position, we were able to provide a greater audience of appreciation for those that followed. Green - 2026 / Blue competition 2024; quite a few changes, eh?

RiverOaks welcomed Bianca to our lead section in March, thanks to an invitation by Feather for a guest visit in January. Bianca sang in her school choir. We're so happy she joined us in time for our April Region 11 competition in Ridgecrest. Yay, Bianca!!
