Friends and Family! We have changed our Facebook from an 'account' to a page. To keep up to date on what God is doing like and follow Into Focus Mobil Vision

We are a group of trained volunteers who provide basic vision care. We provide free vision screening and reading glasses to adults living in underprivileged communities in communities local to Los Angeles and full eyeglass clinics in developing nations.

Good evening family and friends! We made it to day 5 and what a day it was! We went to the juvenile detention facility today to love on the boys and girls who really needed to know that they are children of a loving God!

Once again God went before us and we were able to see all the of the young people in the facility, which were about 60. We were also able to have some of the church community that were not able to be seen on our first day come into the facility to be seen as well and in total we saw 142 people today. God is so Good!

The great part of doing missions, besides being obedient to God, is when we get to witness God mighty work in the hearts of those we see. Their smile lights up a room once they put those glasses on for the first time. But the best part is when you look out into a packed room and you see those people receiving prayers and accepting Christ as their Lord and Savior - well that my friends is worth it all!

Our last day of service in South Africa has come to an end but God will still be working in the hearts of the church community and each individual that were impacted by our visit this week. My prayer is that the seeds that were planted be multiplied for generations to come!

“Many, Lord my God, are the wonders you have done, the things you planned for us. None can compare with you; were I to speak and tell of your deeds, they would be too many to declare. “ Psalms 5

We start our long journey home Sunday. And arrive at LAX Monday afternoon after 32 hours of travel. But the travel is worth it to be able to serve and see lives impacted by Jesus love.

You never know what to expect on these mission trips. The only thing we do expect is that God will go before us and meet us where we are.

The Into Focus team shared their gratitude for the support and love received from God, highlighting the impact of their visit to the prison on March 17, where they ministered to 102 inmates and officials, and the positive response from the warden.

Looking back at this year we have so much to be thankful for because of the generous donations. We have had the opportunity to provide vision care not only locally and globally, but also spend intentional time with those who come to us to share the love of God and pray over them.

While we are thankful for all IntoFocus has been able to do, there is still so much more we are looking forward to doing this next year, and many more to come.

Thankful for the opportunity God has provided that allows us to serve within the prisons in Mexico. Thankful for the open hearts of not only our volunteers to take a Friday out of their life and for the open hearts of the inmates to hear about a God who loves them unconditionally.

Yesterday our team of volunteers served at a church in Monterey Park. While there, we were invited to partner with them for upcoming events. The church is predominately Mandarin speaking. If you speak Mandarin and would love an opportunity to serve please reach out.

Grateful for these servant hearts who volunteered this weekend in Lancaster, California. Despite the heatwave, many came out and received glasses and prayer.

Our team has started their travel to Uganda. This trip we are joining our partners, Africa Renewal Ministries, to reach out and share God's love with refugees from Sudan and Congo. Together we will building relationships and planting churches. Needs will be assessed and essential help such as school, medical services, and clean water will be provided.

Praying over our team as they serve in a prison in Mexico today. Praying that God not only uses them to help restore the gift of sight but that God will show His unconditional love through them.

"Go" The Bible calls us to go and share of His love. This does not always mean leaving the country, sometimes He call us to serve and share with our neighbors. Earlier this month we were able to do just that in the community of MacArthur Park alongside many others with .L.A. on Cloud9
