This was how I announced to Seth that I was pregnant with Benny. I sent it to him while he was at work so he could get his emotions in check. As you can see our youngest was still a baby so I knew he would need a minute to process.
Anyways I thought I lost this photo but I found it. I am so happy to have it.

After a lot of thought, I’ve decided that once I finish the orders I’ve already accepted, I’ll be taking a short break from The Bennys Light Project.

I’ve realized I may have taken on more than I can realistically manage right now. With school starting back, our upcoming vacation, and a possible surgery in the next couple of months, I don’t want to commit to making memorial pieces if I can’t give each family the time and care they deserve.

My hope is to reopen orders in November. 🩵

Thank you so much for supporting The Bennys Light Project. This project means the world to me, and I’m incredibly proud of what it’s become. This isn’t goodbye, just a pause so I can come back ready to give it my best.

To every family who has trusted me with your baby’s memory, thank you. Please know that you and your sweet babies are in my thoughts every single day. 🩵

Just a little introduction since I have new followers. I’m Savannah, Bennys mom, and I’m thrilled to share my journey with you. I have 3 other boys and I work full time as a pharmacy technician. That’s my husband Seth, who works night shift. On top of juggling jobs with opposite schedules and kids, I have 2 dogs and 2 ball pythons, and I’m grateful for the love and joy they bring as I got them to help me
With grieving Benny. I run this non-profit, am starting a podcast, and am teaching myself how to tattoo, and I’m excited to see where these passions take me. I also enjoy tearing apart my house 🥲, and right now I’m depopcorning my ceilings, one step at a time.

But somehow between all of that, I make stands for parents who have lost children. And I love it! I love giving you something to put on their memorial spots in your houses. I know it makes me feel better seeing things with his name. I’m glad I can give that back you guys.

I was finally able to sit down and work on some orders!! I’m hoping to get these out before Monday. 😊 and I still have a lot more to finish so if you don’t see your babies name on a box, it’s still being worked on.

Don’t forget I take donations — it’s $8-12 each to ship these. Last month’s shipments was around $150 so anything helps.

Well friends, I cannot catch a break. My oldest now has Covid. 😞

I’m coming up with a plan to get things back in order and I’m so sorry for the delay! I have at least 24 stands to get out.
