Today was a heavy day for our brotherhood.

The Van Buren Fire Department had the honor of attending the Arkansas State Fallen Firefighters Memorial, where one of our own, Captain Richard Davis, was placed among the heroes who gave everything in service to others.

His dedication to the job and to those around him will never be forgotten. We will carry his legacy forward in every call we answer, every life we touch, and every time we put on the uniform.

Rest easy, Captain. We’ve got it from here.

Join us in congratulating these two on graduating from the fire academy! 🚒🔥

The academy takes long hours, hard work, and a lot of determination. These two put in the time, pushed through the challenges, and earned every bit of this accomplishment.

The Van Buren Fire Department and the Van Buren Professional Fire Fighters Local 4078 are proud to see them complete this step in their fire service careers, and we look forward to the work they will do serving the citizens of Van Buren.
