We have a wonderful update on Bandit that went on transport to Illinois a couple weeks ago. Look how beautiful he looks with his new dad. I swear that dog is smiling. How awesome is this. I want to thank Kelly S Lopeman Kim Louise Samms and her husband for helping me get this done, and also everyone that donates. Without you Dexter Dog Rescue could not have done this.

Our story continues: Billie Jean is back at the rescue with our dogs in the house with no fault of hers. She is a great dog. The adopters decided they didn't want to take the time to train a puppy. So if anyone is willing to take a few weeks to get to know her let me know. She is very smart and willing to learn.

Dexter Dog Rescue has some wonderful news. Billie Jean found her forever home with a wonderful couple and will be seeing the country in a semi with them and their cat. Also Bandit got picked to go up North to find his forever home and is on his way. He will get lots of love, play time and much needed run space. I want to thank Kelly, Kim and her husband for getting the transport done.
I want to also say Thank you to all that donate, this couldn't happen without you all. 💗🐕

I am so grateful for the ones that donate to the rescue. Our dogs appreciate you for taking the time to have them in your thoughts and prayers. Every rescue struggles with not having enough funds or space. I want to thank everyone that has donated to Dexter Dog Rescue . Every penny we receive goes to caring for our dogs. Also every item that is donated is used and so much appreciated. We are small but mighty in what we want to accomplish. No dog should be left behind. 💓🐕💓

We brought this little girl Billie Jean in from her kennel because she is so sad being out by herself. She lost 2 sisters to parvo. She has been so good with my other 3 dogs and the cat. The dogs have taught her to use the doggie door in a day, she still doesn't understand going outside to do her business but does do it right by the door. I am sure she will get it in a few days. She is so sweet, calm and loves us all. We need a good foster for here or a family that wants to give her a chance.

I helped a local rescue with getting 7 puppies to the vet for health certificates and back to their foster home today. They will go on transport tomorrow and hopefully find their forever homes. I am extremely happy that Dexter Dog Rescue got to help with this. Every dog matters no matter what. Our rescue is struggling right now. We need donations. If everyone that follows my page would donate one dollar we will make another week. I have 17 dogs right now and am working on getting some of them on a transport. I have a few that are permanent so we need funds to help them. I know everyone is struggling right now but just one dollar makes a big difference. Please everyone work together to get us through another week. Thank you in advance. Our dogs appreciate you all💗🦮

OMGosh OMGosh thank you thank you Tractor Supply for donating all this wonderful yummy food for our rescues. This means so much to us, we spend a lot of our donated money on food and this will help us buy other things for our dogs during the summer months. Small pools, bigger water buckets, flea and tick prevention. I have also rescued another dog from the hoarding house in Kibler, he is injured and completely worn out from feeling sick from all the ticks and fleas that were killing him. We treated him yesterday and he seems to feel better but still won't eat. I will post pictures of him and more information in my next post. Please consider a small donation to help with his care. More information coming. Oh we named him Flynn💗

I wanted to update and Thank everyone that has donated money and food for the rescue. You all are amazing 😍.
I wanted to get on here and let everyone know that follows my page that all local rescues are suffering. All of us are over full, trying to make sure all the dogs we have get what they need and of course all the love and treats we can give them. This being said, my rescue is full I have 3 female pups and 2 male dogs that need to be fixed right now. I had a wonderful supporter drop off dog food to keep us going but us like all other rescues in the area need help. I am a small rescue but it still costs me over 100 dollars a week to make sure all my fur babies get what they need. I have 226 dollars in my rescue account right now. That will not spay and neuter the dogs here right now. If you support me please donate, if you choose to support other local rescues please do. We do this for the dogs, they deserve so much more than they get being left without anyone to help them. If you give 2.00 dollars to each rescue and everyone does this we will make it another month. Believe me when I say just a small amount matters in this fight to help the ones that can't help themselves. 💗🐕🦮🐕‍🦺
Also I go to sleep and wake up everyday worrying about the dogs in my kennels. I am sure everyone that runs a rescue does the same.

Dexter Dog Rescue loves to hear about updates on our rescues that were adopted. Falkour was sent north on transport a year ago. He found his person, look at him now. He has had training and has become the best fur baby ever. I love to see he swims and the picture of his little tongue poking out made me giggle. What a beautiful dog and amazing story. Thank you Jacob for the update. 💗🦮
