Partnership in Action

The Send Me Project is honored to partner with Rick Bonfim Ministries as they prepare for ministry outreach in Brazil.

Thanks to the generosity of our supporters, Send Me Project has helped provide humanitarian aid for children and families, including clothing and essential resources that will be distributed directly within local communities. We have also contributed financial support to assist with immediate humanitarian needs and invested in equipping young people who will serve on the mission field.

This partnership represents more than a trip. It is a collaborative effort to strengthen communities, support local churches, develop future leaders, and demonstrate compassion through both practical assistance and personal service.

At Send Me Project, there are two ways to get involved: help send or be sent.

Those who help send make our work possible through financial support, humanitarian aid, strategic partnerships, volunteer expertise, resource mobilization, networking, and advocacy.

Those who are sent serve directly through humanitarian outreach, disaster relief, community development initiatives, volunteer deployments, and mission-based service opportunities.

Hi, my name is Aaliyah Shisler, and I serve as the Social Media Director for Send Me Project. My professional background includes military service, human resources, administrative operations, leadership, strategic communications, and community engagement. Through both military and nonprofit experience, I have developed a strong foundation in organizational excellence, relationship building, and mission-focused leadership.

I proudly served in the United States Army as a Human Resources Sergeant, where I was responsible for personnel administration, organizational support, records management, and service member readiness. During my military career, I developed strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills while learning to operate effectively in fast-paced environments that demanded integrity, accountability, and attention to detail.

In addition to my military experience, I have had the privilege of serving alongside Rick Bonfim Ministries, supporting humanitarian outreach and international service initiatives that have impacted communities both locally and globally. These experiences have provided valuable insight into the challenges facing individuals, families, and underserved populations while strengthening my commitment to service, advocacy, and community development.

My professional interests center on strategic communication, digital engagement, media development, and community outreach. I am passionate about leveraging storytelling and communication platforms to increase awareness, strengthen partnerships, highlight meaningful initiatives, and connect individuals with opportunities to make a positive difference.

As Social Media Director for Send Me Project, I help communicate the organization’s mission, initiatives, and impact through strategic content development, public engagement, and digital communications. I work to ensure that stories are communicated with authenticity, excellence, and purpose while helping expand awareness of humanitarian projects, leadership initiatives, volunteer opportunities, and community partnerships.

I believe effective communication is one of the most powerful tools for building trust, inspiring action, and creating lasting impact. Through leadership, strategic communication, and community engagement, I am committed to helping organizations expand their reach, strengthen partnerships, and create sustainable solutions that improve lives and empower communities.

My name is Melissa Strother, and I am an entrepreneur, creative strategist, education advocate, and community leader with a professional background spanning design, manufacturing, product development, and public service.

A graduate of Auburn University, I have built a diverse career that combines creativity, business development, and strategic leadership. My experience includes graphic design, garment and textile design, product development, and collaboration with international manufacturing partners, allowing me to guide products from concept through production while building strong global business relationships.

Throughout my career, I have been passionate about creating innovative solutions, developing brands and products, and helping organizations and individuals reach their highest potential. My work has provided opportunities to engage with manufacturers and business partners around the world while strengthening my expertise in creative strategy, project management, and entrepreneurial leadership.

In addition to my professional endeavors, I am deeply committed to education and community engagement. I currently serve on my local county school board, where I work alongside fellow leaders to support students, families, educators, and initiatives that contribute to long-term educational excellence within our community.

A transformative personal faith journey significantly shaped my leadership philosophy and continues to influence my commitment to integrity, service, and purpose-driven leadership. This foundation has strengthened my desire to create meaningful impact through both professional and community involvement.

Amanda Holmes is a leader, homeschool educator, mentor, and advocate for strong families and healthy communities with a lifelong passion for service, leadership, and helping others thrive.

As a devoted wife and mother of three daughters, Amanda dedicated more than a decade to homeschooling and mentoring her children through their high school graduation years. That journey cultivated a deep passion for leadership development, mentorship, education, and building strong foundations for families and communities.

Amanda has served on the board of Rise since 2011, where she continues to provide leadership, organizational support, and strategic vision for community and outreach initiatives.

Her passion for serving others expanded internationally in 2021 through outreach efforts in Africa, where she supported orphanage initiatives and regenerative farming projects designed to strengthen long-term sustainability for local communities. In 2023, Amanda broadened her involvement internationally through outreach work in Cuba and Brazil alongside Rick Bonfim Ministries, supporting community initiatives, leadership development, and humanitarian outreach efforts.

My name is Katie Ramsey. I am a young mother, missionary, and Co-Founder of Send Me Project — an organization committed to bringing hope, compassion, leadership development, and practical support to communities locally and around the world.

My passion for serving others has taken me across the globe. Through The World Race, I had the privilege of traveling to 14 countries in one year, experiencing diverse cultures, building relationships, and witnessing firsthand both the challenges communities face and the power of compassion in action.

Those experiences shaped a lifelong commitment to serving people with purpose, strengthening communities, and helping create opportunities that leave lasting impact.

My name is Jennifer Bauman, and I am honored to serve as the Co-Founder and President of Send Me Project, a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization committed to strengthening communities through humanitarian outreach, leadership development, volunteer mobilization, and strategic community engagement initiatives both nationally and internationally.

For more than 25 years, I have worked as an entrepreneur in the health and fitness industry, building businesses focused on wellness, leadership, performance, and community impact. Throughout my career, I have remained passionate about leadership development, mentorship, strategic outreach, and helping individuals, teams, and organizations maximize growth, leadership capacity, and long-term impact.

As an independent contractor, I partnered with the United States Air Force on health and fitness initiatives designed to support physical readiness and enhance PT test performance through nutrition education, wellness strategies, and performance-focused support. This experience strengthened my understanding of leadership, discipline, organizational structure, and results-driven development within high-performance environments.

My professional background also includes humanitarian outreach and community engagement, serving underserved individuals and families through food distribution initiatives, clothing outreach, mentorship, and practical community support efforts.

For more than 20 years, I have partnered with Rick Bonfim Ministries helping lead and coordinate international outreach efforts across Brazil, Cuba, Peru, Israel, and Panama. Over the past five years, I have continued serving internationally through humanitarian initiatives, leadership development, volunteer mobilization, and community support projects designed to strengthen local communities and create sustainable impact.

Send Me Project was founded from a shared vision that meaningful and lasting impact happens when compassion is combined with action. As a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, we work to strengthen communities through humanitarian assistance, leadership development, volunteer mobilization, and strategic partnerships that support sustainable local and international initiatives.

Meeting practical needs creates pathways for lasting impact.

Send Me Project is preparing humanitarian aid shipments alongside our international outreach teams traveling to Brazil, providing clothing support for underserved children and infants in vulnerable communities through partnership efforts with Rick Bonfim Ministries.

Access to basic necessities can significantly influence health, dignity, confidence, and family stability. What is amazing, is that what we were able to bless Jorge and his family with… he turned around and blessed an entire village of children by feeding them.

Jorge didn’t keep this provision to himself. He turned around and fed the children in his community.

Just days before, Jorge had reached out in desperation and on the brink of su***de, not knowing how he was going to feed his five younger siblings. But now, through the donations and support that were provided, his entire countenance has changed. What was once desperation is now joy, gratitude, and hope.
