Help us keep our first responders hydrated this summer! Our officers and firefighters work around the clock serving and protecting the Van Alstyne community, and bottled water donations are greatly appreciated.

💧 Cases of bottled water of any size are welcome.

The Van Alstyne First Responders are seeking community support to help ensure our personnel remain properly hydrated as the warmer months approach. We are currently in need of donations of bottled water.

Cases may be dropped off at 280 N. Preston Ave., Van Alstyne, TX, or monetary donations can be made through the Van Alstyne Police Association page.

🚨A Call to Our Celina Family🚨

With the Carter family’s blessing, we share this news with heavy hearts.

Our brother Lane Carter, his wife Sheriden, and their three children have received devastating news. Their middle child, Riley, has been diagnosed with Multiple Sulfatase Deficiency (MSD), a rare genetic disorder. With broken hearts we share that the Carters have learned that Riley’s condition is terminal.

In a conversation with Lane he stated: “The more people that know, the more that will be praying for her.”

So we’re asking you Celina, please surround this family. Let your prayers, your love, and your words of hope pour over them. Fill this thread with encouragement and tell them that they are not alone.

The Celina Professional Firefighters Association will be working directly with the Carter family and walking beside them through this time of need. We are committed to making sure they feel the full strength of their firehouse family and this community.

Riley is a bright, gentle light. She is laughter and little footsteps and she is the heart beat of a home that is ours to protect. Today, she belongs to all of us.
