Our new hours mean more opportunities to visit, explore, learn, create, and connect with your library.

🕚 Tuesday: 11:00 AM – 5:00 PM
🕚 Wednesday: 11:00 AM – 5:00 PM
🌙 Thursday: 11:00 AM – 7:00 PM
📖 Friday: 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM
📚 Saturday: 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM
🚪 Sunday: Closed

Whether you’re stopping by to find your next great read, bringing the kids to explore, using library resources, attending a program, or simply enjoying a welcoming place to spend some time—we’re excited to have more hours to serve YOU! ❤️

North Texas Giving Day is almost here, but you don't have to wait to donate!

The Friends of the Van Alstyne Library is participating for the 1st time this year. We would love your help raising funds for STEM Bilingual Literacy Computers for kids ages 2 to 12 and for the 2027 Summer Reading Program.

North Texas Giving Day opens today, August 27th and the Friends of the Van Alstyne Library is participating in it for the 1st time this year.

The Friends of the Van Alstyne Public Library would like to honor and thank Judy Kimzey for her 24 years of outstanding leadership & commitment to the Van Alstyne Public Library. Under Judy's leadership, her team won numerous awards, set record after record and paid their own way to meet the needs of the library patrons and the Van Alstyne community. With the help of generous donations and grant money, Judy was able to achieve the beautiful remodel of the Van Alstyne Public Library.

Thank you for being a part of our story Judy!! You have been a dedicated, committed, resourceful and excellent Library Director! You will be missed greatly at the Van Alstyne Library!! Enjoy reading your "I'll read these someday" books during your retirement! Thank you!! ❤️
