Wow, just 3 days to go before the FALL BOOK FAIR! I can't wait ... we have SOOOO many books this fall, and many of them are ones that have not been at a book fair before! It's a huge selection!!

The book fair kicks off on Preview Night on October 22nd from 6pm to 8pm. And then opens again on Friday from 9am to 7pm.

Don't miss this opportunity to find some new reads for the fall/winter! There's something for everyone from kids to adults, fiction, non-fiction, DVD's, teens and more!

🚨⚠️🚨⚠️ Today's the Day - Today is North Texas Giving Day!! As a non-profit, the Friends of the Van Alstyne Public Library are registered with the North Texas Giving Day for the 1st time!

It's your opportunity to help your community! Did you know that the Van Alstyne Library Remodel was funded by grant money and generous donations to the friends of the Van Alstyne Library. Your donations can make a huge difference on our library!

I know there are a lot of great causes to donate to, but giving locally helps Van Alstyne! All the money raised goes back into the Van Alstyne Public Library. You can see your donations in action from books to summer reading program to the awesome remodel.

Please help support the Van Alstyne Public Library! The city budget has cut back on funds to the library and we need donations to help purchase STEM Bilingual Literacy Computers for kids ages 2 to 12 and also fund the Summer Reading Program.

North Texas Giving Day is almost here, but you don't have to wait to donate!

The Friends of the Van Alstyne Library is participating for the 1st time this year. We would love your help raising funds for STEM Bilingual Literacy Computers for kids ages 2 to 12 and for the 2027 Summer Reading Program.
