We're an all-volunteer, nonprofit organization that works in conjunction with PetSmart & local shelters to find loving homes for cats, dogs & even farm animals.

🚨SPRING HILL AREA - URGENT: FOSTER HOMES NEEDED NOW 🚨

Kittens are pouring into shelters, and we have ZERO foster homes left to save them. Every local shelter and rescue is at capacity, and county shelters have already begun euthanizing for space. These babies don't stand a chance unless someone steps up to foster.

💛We provide EVERYTHING you need: food, litter, vet care, support. All you give is love and a safe temporary home!

🎉 Another Sunday pop-up event in the books! 🎉

🐾We successfully vetted 112 cats and kittens along with 7 puppies!
Kitten season is in FULL SWING and to keep up with the demand, we’re running 3 pop-up events a month to spay/neuter and vaccinate our rescued animals.

➡️ We also welcomed in 10 cats and kittens from the Humane Society to help lighten their load. (The Persians are currently NOT ready for adoption yet, BUT keep an eye on our socials for when they're ready for their furever homes 😊 )

It takes a village to make this possible and we’re so thankful for our amazing partners, volunteers, fosters, transporters, veterinarians, and our regular pop-up crew who continue to show up month after month to make this lifesaving work possible!! ❤️

🐾 It’s Kitten Season and Rescue Pets of Florida is looking for caring, dedicated volunteers to help foster kittens AND mother cats nursing their babies.

We created this post to help answer some commonly asked questions we’ve received recently about fostering!

As a foster volunteer, you’ll provide a temporary home where kittens can grow up safely and momma cats can care for their babies until they’re ready for adoption. You’ll be giving them a fresh start and helping save lives right from your own home!

Whether you’ve fostered before or are brand new, we’ll guide you every step of the way.
