It’s not too late to join! We’re excited to welcome families to Ready, Set, Kindergarten, a special 4-month Kindergarten Jump Start program offered exclusively for HUB families. Our Parent Educators are ready to support your child as they prepare for this exciting next step.

• Child must be 4 years old by August 1

By now many of you have heard that we are passing along our annual egg hunt event to the very capable hands of Valpo Parks.

As a result we have nearly 20,000 Plastic Eggs both new and used to bless our community with!!! We would like to spread the love and share this blessing with our fellow community.

We are looking for YOUR help! Please tag and nominate a group here in Northwest Indiana who could trying benefit from this blessing. We would love to see these resources be used in a beautiful way across our area!!

As moms we are constantly seeking ways to support others in motherhood and let me tell you this organization found a way to truly embody that. Creating care for women not only prenatally but also through their fourth trimester and into their postpartum journey. It’s a level of care that we believe is absolutely imperative.

Today they are hosting a fundraising event with Chick-fil-A in Valparaiso. A percentage of ONLINE orders will go towards helping them with their mission of supporting moms. (Reminder you can order through the app from their parking lot OR at your table in the restaurant). Use code Harbor26 (it is case sensitive) and because it is clear that Chik Fil A truly cares about the community aspect it will actually prompt you for every online order to enter the code! (And give you the option to tell a member if you don’t know it). They are certainly helping progress this mission in every way they can!

Another yummy chance to give back!! Join us this Wednesday the 10th of December from 4-8pm at Panera in Valparaiso for our Dine to Donate! Panera will donate 30% of sales back to us!! Please remember to use the code for online orders and mention us if you dine in!

Our donations go towards creating meaningful change for women and children in our broader community! Every bowl of soup helps!

Christmas time is near! That means it’s time to get decorating those cookies! The kids had a blast decorating sugar cookies yesterday! Highly recommend the paint palate method. Kids loved having sprinkle options! Also did a thinner frosting that they poured themselves from mini solo cups. Made for efficiency in decorating and easy cleanup!!!

When our kiddos are our life, we find ways to experience the messy joys of parenting, together, with our sensory focused playgroups! Reach out for more information about the different kinds of events we offer with moms AND kids in mind!

Reminder of our Dine to Donate coming up next week with Dominos in Valparaiso!

The money from this will help support our efforts to bring the magic of Christmas to our Angel Tree Family and more!!

This is an all day fundraiser - so tell your friends and family and husbands! Great way to support would to be have them order for their school/company/organization!

Note! Bills play Texans for Thursday Night Football

Also attached the college basketball schedule! Pizza is a good idea everyday but especially when you know sports are on the agenda!

We hope to see you tomorrow for our General Meeting being held at Trinity Lutheran Church in downtown Valparaiso! We have an exciting event calendar for October we will review along with our plan for November!

We will hear from a special guest this month. Kasie Tenbarge with will be talking about all of the amazing FREE resources available to us mamas in this community! Come to hear more about programs that are here exclusive to support you!

We meet in the fellowship hall at 10am. Kids are encouraged to attend and refreshments are provided!
